17th Edition Rules and Information

The 17th edition will be held by Catalunya and the location of the contest will be in the catalan city Granollers. The Comission of Our Song Contest helded a conversation in Barcelona to meet the Catalonian TV Director to have some information about the contest.
The dates of the 17th edition are 1st, 8th and 15th of december. On 1st December will be held the First Semifinal with 15 countries, the second one will be held the Second Semifinal with 15 countries and the final on 15th december compose by twenty countries.
As new news :
- All participants must choose their song until 1st November 2012.
- The song they choosed must be elected by almost the 50% of televote in their NF.
- No more than one song by solist. A singer can not represent two countries at the same time.
- Each country must choose a song that have official video and a live performance.
